Argon

Argon

Argon gas is a gas widely used in metallurgy, welding and lighting industries thanks to its inert (unreactive) structure. Available in 99.99% ultra-pure form, argon creates a protective atmosphere by not reacting even at high temperatures and ensures quality results in sensitive production processes.

Areas of Use

Metallurgy & Steel Production

  • Increases purity by preventing oxidation in steel and aluminum production.
  • Improves quality and strength as it does not react with molten metals.

Welding Processes

  • It is used as a shielding gas in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding.
  • Provides high quality weld seams for stainless steel, aluminum and titanium welding.

Lighting & Electronics

  • In neon and incandescent lamps, it is used to create a stable light source.
  • Increases safety by providing insulation in high-voltage electrical circuits.

Technical Specifications

  • Prevents oxidation on metal surfaces thanks to its inert (non-reactive) structure.
  • It is a colorless, odorless and non-flammable gas.
  • It can be supplied in gas or liquid form.

Supply Options

Liquid Argon (LAr) - Supply with Cryogenic Tanks
Can be stored in liquid form in cryogenic tanks for large-scale industrial applications. Increases process efficiency by providing uninterrupted gas flow in metal production.

Central Distribution Systems
Uninterrupted argon supply is provided with manifold systems for factories and industrial plants.

Environmentally Friendly and Safe to Use

Argon is a natural noble gas and does not harm the environment. It is non-flammable, carries no risk of explosion and offers safe use in industrial processes. Thanks to its non-reactive structure, it preserves the quality of metals and prevents oxidation.
